What the app stores

Guitar Triad Trainer stores your practice sessions, session settings, and voice-command preference on your device so the app works offline. There is no cloud sync.

Permissions

Microphone and Speech Recognition are optional. They are used only when you turn on voice commands during practice. If you deny those permissions, the rest of the app still works.

Data collection

Guitar Triad Trainer is a free download with a 7-day free trial on monthly access, $0.99/month access after the trial unless canceled, and a $9.99 lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase on iPhone and iPad or Google Play Billing on Android. It does not include ads.

We use limited anonymous PostHog analytics for basic app and website usage, onboarding completion, and the trial, monthly access, and lifetime unlock screen so we can understand whether the app, website, and purchase flow are working reliably. These events do not include your saved sessions, custom progressions, chord contents, or practice history.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data, share your practice history with advertisers, or send analytics data for ad tracking. PostHog receives only the limited analytics events described above so we can understand site interest, app reliability, onboarding completion, and purchase-screen performance.
