What the app stores

Guitar Triad Trainer stores your practice sessions, session settings, and voice-command preference on your device so the app works offline. There is no account system or cloud sync.

Permissions

Microphone and Speech Recognition are optional. They are used only when you turn on voice commands during practice. If you deny those permissions, the rest of the app still works.

Data collection

Guitar Triad Trainer is a free download with a free 3-day Trial and a $9.99 lifetime unlock through Apple in-app purchase. It does not require an account and does not include ads.

We use limited anonymous PostHog analytics for the trial and lifetime unlock screen so we can compare paywall variants. These events include the assigned paywall variant, paywall views, trial starts, unlock taps, unlock success, restore attempts, dismissals, and errors. We do not send your saved sessions, custom progressions, or practice history.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data, share your practice history with advertisers, or send analytics data for ad tracking. PostHog receives the limited paywall analytics events described above only so we can understand which trial/unlock screen works better.
